Intern With Us

If you’d like to perform on stage at our shows, go to the “Perform For Us” page. This page is strictly for behind-the-scenes production work. Once you sign on as an Intern you are NOT ELIGIBLE TO PERFORM ON OUR SHOWS AS A COMEDIAN. If you have an itch to perform standup one day, don’t intern with us. Go to the “Perform For Us” page.

If you’ve given up on your dreams of performing, but still want to be involved in the local DC area comedy show business scene, then you’re on the right page.

Looking for a fun job in the Entertainment Industry here in the DC-MD-VA area? Internships are not paid, but we fill our paid positions from our intern pool. Interns Must Be At Least 16 (sixteen) Years Old.

Duties can be done off-site on your home computer or on-site at one/all of our 3 ongoing weekly shows.

You can do either or both.

Off-Site  at-home  computer duties:

Marketing: Placing ads for shows on various event websites.

Talent Scout: Watching YouTube video submissions of comics to see if they are funny.

On-Site  at-show duties:

Roadies: unloading equipment, setting up before the show, tearing down & packing up after show.

Crowd Control: ushering audience to empty seats.

Producers Assistant: Helping the on-site Producer with general show-running tasks.

Industrial Spy: Attending our competitions shows to find funny new comics and copy any clever production ideas the venue is doing. We pay your admission if there is a $ cover charge to get in.
