Since 2002, StandupComedyToGo.com has been producing and hosting quality, and of course, very funny, live stand-up comedy shows for the general public Wednesday thru Saturday, as well as private events in Maryland, Washington, DC and Northern Virginia.

We pride ourselves on selecting the best, local, amateur and professional stand-up comedians available for your entertainment pleasure.  We offer high quality comedy at affordable prices in your hometown.  In addition to regularly showcasing the best local comedians from New York, Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia and surrounding areas, we also specialize in highlighting the Bright New Faces of Comedy in short segments at each show.  You are guaranteed to see a favorite at every performance. 

Completely portable, we are the best area professionals bringing live stand-up comedy shows to your bar, hotel, school or business event, charity fundraiser/benefit (in cooperation with Comics Who Care®), or your home for any private celebration or party.  We bring everything directly to you:  Comics, and Fully Insured, Non-Invasive Equipment, Signage, Media & Advertising, Sound System and Stage & Lighting.  We can accommodate one-time events as well as recurring weekly/monthly shows.  Available to perform shows as short as 10 minutes to as long as 2 hours.  Our shows can range from PG - R Rating.  We will bring some of the best local comics to your door in an entirely "quick-set-up and quick-break-down show".

After every show, audience members have a chance to win the highly coveted "I was very brave" sticker, $25 cash, a tee-shirt and 2 tickets to a future show at the Bethesda, MD Hyatt Regency Hotel by participating in our “Everybody’s A Comedian”™ joke contest. Get up on stage and tell one brief joke – any joke, internet joke, knock knock joke, passed down through your family from your great uncle joke… please, no long stories.  Winners are selected by audience applause... So bring your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers… and tell them to bring family, friends, neighbors and co-workers… Good Luck! 

SCTG provides Big City Club Entertainment in an Intimate Hometown Setting.  Our Hyatt show is less than the cost of a movie, our Ri Ra and Topaz Shows are FREE!  Residents and visitors to Bethesda, Arlington & DC can see the area's best professional and touring stand-up comedians stop by to headline or feature and meet some of the bright new faces of comedy perform short sets in quality, weekly, 2-hour live comedy shows.  Theater-Atmosphere Seating, Food & Drink Options, Local Resident Emcee and Hosts, and an "Everybody's A Comedian Joke Contest" where audience members can participate to win $25 cash prize, make our shows Improv-Style but local, accessible and affordable with incentives for private parties and VIP Show regulars.  Fun events for any group, gathering, celebration or night-on-the-town.
